Beau Wilkes

Beau Wilkes is the son of Ashley Wilkes and Melanie Hamilton Wilkes. He was born on September 2, 1864, during The Siege of Atlanta. His mother was ill during and after his birth (which was perfomed by Scarlett O'Hara and Prissy). He survived the dark years of Tara Plantation following the civil war. In 1873 His mother got pregnant again, this time it was fatal. In the movie he is shown to be very upset that his mother passed on.
